This blog post marks my return after a year-long hiatus from posting.
In 2023, I dedicated my time to acquiring expertise in new business domains and staying abreast of the latest tech stacks utilized by my company.
On the professional front, two significant milestones stand out.
Firstly, I transitioned to a high-performing team renowned for its skilled members and strong internal culture. This move was prompted by the need for a performance testing expert to conduct benchmarks across multiple services and to address the backlog of pending releases.
Additionally, my new team is spearheading the adoption of cloud-agnostic deployment solutions, allowing clients to configure and utilize our product regardless of their chosen platform (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). This transition necessitates proficiency in microservices testing and staying updated on emerging technologies.
This presents an exciting opportunity for me to delve into cloud services testing and expand my skill set. As promised, expect more posts on microservices and cloud testing throughout 2024.
Secondly, I was promoted to Senior QA Automation Engineer in recognition of my dedication and outstanding performance. While this new role brings added responsibilities, I am eager to not only excel personally but also contribute to the team's success.
On a personal note, I have devoted time to honing my cooking skills, a pursuit I had previously neglected. Despite challenges, preparing homemade meals brings me joy and allows me to maintain control over my nutritional intake.
In summary, 2023 was a year of significant change and growth. I am grateful for the opportunities to adapt and evolve in ways that align with my aspirations.
